Other Ramblers Groups
Other Ramblers groups within the Inner London area.
Capital Walkers:
A friendly and varied group of people of all ages and interests.
Walks vary in length from four to eighteen miles, and they also arrange Wednesday evening walks
along London's waterways in summer.
Hammersmith, Fulham and Wandsworth Group:
Most members live around South West London, they organise walks ranging from 6 to 13 miles in length,
at an easy to moderate pace.
Hampstead Group:
A friendly group, walks from five to twenty miles at an easy to fast pace. Walks every Sunday
and most Saturdays, occasional mid-week walks, New Years break and week long holiday
in Summer.
Kensington Chelsea and Westminster Ramblers:
Walks vary in length, the majority of their walks are eight to fourteen miles.
In summer most walks are in the country within one hour's train journey.
Routes avoid roads as far as possible, using footpaths and bridleways.
In winter more walks are in or near London, some with a cultural interest.
London Strollers:
The London Strollers is a new walking group welcoming all Londoners from our diverse city. We organise
accessible walks for all members of the community whether young or old. Families are particularly welcome.
Metropolitan Walkers:
A group targeted to those in their 20's to early 40's. They organise five walks a week
from evening strolls through London’s parks to hiking Ben Nevis “the hard way”. Most
walks end in a pub, they also organise weekends away and social events. Members of the
metropolitan walkers also organise the
Capital Walkers, an initiative aimed at people at the top end of the Metropolitan Walkers
age range.
North East London Ramblers:
Walks vary from eight to thirteen miles. Most walks are on Saturdays with some Sundays,
and are attended by from twelve to twenty-five people.
Southbank Group:
A friendly and varied group of people of all ages and interests.
Walks vary in length from four to eighteen miles, and they also arrange Wednesday evening walks
along London's waterways in summer.

Miscellaneous
The Happy Hiker site: a website with the aim of helping fellow hikers by providing easy to understand walking routes in both text and GPS downloadable formats together with general walking advice.
Ramblers Worldwide Holidays celebrates its 65th anniversary this year, which is something of an achievement – particularly during these difficult times. They now operate to over 250 destinations in 65 countries and their portfolio includes Ramblers Countrywide Holidays, Ramblers Family Adventures, Ramblers Cruise & Walk and Pedal & Walk holidays in addition to their mainstay brochure, Ramblers Worldwide Holidays.
